Songlines Music Awards 2010 – Nominees Announced


Songlines magazine has today announced the final nominees for its Songlines Music Awards 2010.

The awards recognise outstanding talent in world music and are voted for by the magazines readers and the general public.

There are four categories: best artist, best group, cross-cultural collaboration and newcomer. Here is the top four nominees in each of the categories based on albums reviewed in Songlines during 2009.

The winners of each category will be announced in the June issue of Songlines, on sale from April 30.
